Everything you need to know before reaching out — from how sessions work to what insurance covers. Don't see your question? Just ask.
No — you do not need a diagnosis to work with Inner Reach Therapeutics. Many clients come to me still figuring out what's going on, or they know their brain works differently without having an official label for it. That's completely fine.
However, if you want to submit a superbill to your insurance company for potential reimbursement, your insurance will require a diagnosis code on the documentation. That diagnosis can be any relevant diagnosis — it doesn't have to be autism or ADHD specifically.
No — Inner Reach Therapeutics is an adult-only practice. All services are designed for adults (18+) who are navigating neurodivergence, mental health conditions, or other neurological differences in their daily lives.
If you're looking for pediatric OT, I'm happy to provide referral suggestions — just reach out.
OT services are available to clients located in Connecticut, Massachusetts, Vermont, and Maine at the time of their session. You must be physically present in one of these states during telehealth OT sessions.
Coaching services are available to anyone in the US, regardless of location. Coaching does not require state licensure, so there are no geographic restrictions.
The best first step is booking a free 15-minute consult call. This is a relaxed, no-pressure conversation where you can share what you're looking for, ask any questions, and we can figure out together whether Inner Reach is the right fit.
If we decide to move forward, we'll schedule your initial evaluation (for OT services) or first coaching session, and go from there at whatever pace works for you.
Inner Reach Therapeutics offers both occupational therapy (OT) and coaching — they're different services with different scopes.
OT is a licensed healthcare service. It includes formal assessments, clinical recommendations, occupational profiling, and documentation suitable for insurance superbills. OT is available to clients in CT, MA, VT, and ME.
Coaching is a goal-oriented support relationship focused on practical strategies, self-understanding, and building a life that works for your brain. It does not include clinical assessments or medical recommendations, and is available to anyone in the US.
Occupational therapy focuses on function and daily living — the activities that fill your day and how your neurological profile affects your ability to do them. While therapy and counseling tend to focus on emotional processing and mental health treatment, OT is more practically focused on how you move through your life.
That said, good OT is inherently trauma-informed and relationally grounded. The work we do together acknowledges the whole person — nervous system, environment, history, and all.
Coaching at Inner Reach focuses on helping neurodivergent adults build practical skills and strategies for daily life. This can include:
✦ Understanding your neurological profile and what it means for how you live and work
✦ Executive function strategies — planning, initiation, task management
✦ Unmasking and building a more authentic daily life
✦ Self-advocacy — communicating your needs at work, in relationships, and beyond
✦ Building routines and habits that actually work for your brain
Coaching groups are small-group experiences for neurodivergent adults — a chance to learn, build skills, and connect with others who truly get it. Groups are offered on a rolling basis as they form.
Each group focuses on a specific topic — such as executive function, unmasking, sensory regulation, or self-advocacy. Groups are kept intentionally small to allow for real connection and individualized attention.
Pricing varies per group and will be posted on flyers and announcements as each group becomes available. Reach out to be added to the interest list.
Inner Reach Therapeutics is a private pay practice — meaning I don't bill insurance directly. Payment is due at the time of service.
However, I provide a superbill after each session, which is a detailed receipt you can submit to your insurance company for potential out-of-network reimbursement. Many clients receive partial or full reimbursement depending on their plan.
To submit a superbill, your insurance will require a diagnosis code on the documentation. This means you'll need a relevant diagnosis from a qualified provider — it doesn't have to be autism or ADHD specifically. Any relevant diagnosis works.
If you don't have a diagnosis, you can still receive services — you simply won't be able to submit for insurance reimbursement. We can discuss this during your consult call.
Initial Evaluation: $300 (55 minutes) — includes a comprehensive occupational profile, sensory assessment, and written recommendations.

After your free consult, your first formal session is an occupational profile and evaluation. This is a conversation-based session where we dig into how you experience daily life — your sensory processing, your routines, what's working, what isn't, and what you want to change.
There's no pressure to perform or have all the answers. You can communicate however works best for you. My job in this session is mostly to listen, ask good questions, and start building a picture of how you work.
Absolutely not. Sessions are flexible in format. If you prefer to write responses, use AAC, take movement breaks, have a fidget, stim, or sit in silence for a moment — all of that is welcome. There is no "correct" way to show up to a session here.
We'll figure out together what format works best for you, and we can adjust at any time.
Session frequency is entirely based on your needs and goals. Some clients meet weekly, others every two weeks or monthly. We'll discuss what makes sense during your evaluation and adjust as your needs change over time.
There's no minimum commitment — you're never locked in.
Please reach out as soon as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule. Specific cancellation policy details will be shared during your intake process.
I understand that for many neurodivergent clients, unexpected changes in capacity are part of life — not a character flaw. We'll handle this with flexibility and understanding.
Sessions are conducted via secure, HIPAA-compliant video. You'll receive a link before your session — just click it at your scheduled time. All you need is a device with a camera and microphone, and a reasonably private space.
You don't need to download any special software in most cases. Details will be provided when you book.
Yes — and for many neurodivergent clients, telehealth is actually more effective than in-person sessions. Here's why:
✦ You're in your own environment, so we can work on real daily living challenges in the context where they actually happen
✦ No sensory burden of waiting rooms, fluorescent lights, or unfamiliar spaces
✦ Lower masking demands mean you can show up more authentically
✦ More accessible — no travel, no parking, no navigating new spaces
Technology issues happen — especially when you're already dealing with executive function challenges. If something goes wrong, just email or call and we'll troubleshoot together or reschedule without penalty.
No question is too small or too basic. Book a free 15-minute call and ask me anything — no commitment required.
